Hi. My name is Mary Ann Benson. I am an Emmy award winning Television and Film editor. I have worked on many shows including “Passions”, “Biography”, “Entertainment Tonight”, “Civil War Journal” and “Sightings. I have also edited a number of indie and documentary films. I have had the opportunity to work with such heavy hitters as Henry Winkler and Academy Award winning composer, Alan Menken.
My past employers have hired me because I am easy to work with and know that I make their work stand out. Because of my passion for music cutting, I am also considered to be an innovator in my visual style of cutting and a creative story telling.
I am also able to quickly integrate myself into an existing show or film in order to help with demanding deadlines or problems. Because of my organizational and communication skills, I expedited delivery of a daily one hour show for NBC.
I am proficient in multiple editing platforms and continuously work on my craft in order to continue to be considered one of the best editors in the business.
In going forward, I hope to continue working on challenging shows and films that with my contribution, become highly acclaimed.
